I’m trying to figure out where I can find information about the Genesee Valley Garden Club – they have local tours during the summer?

Thank you.

Hi, Wanda!
I am not aware of a Genesee Valley Garden Club.I googled it and found there was one that existed … in 1971. My late friend Art Trimble was a speaker—how fun. Anyway, did you mean the Rochester Civic Garden Center? Unfortunately that has ceased operations. Let me know if we can help you find something else.

Please add to the beginning of our usual add: Due to COVID19, our club will not be holding meetings for the year of September202 – April 2021. Club status will be updated as the global community situation changes to allow for indoor gatherings of large groups.

Unfortunately, we don’t venture that far East. You could try contacting the Federated Garden Clubs of America.

Under ROCHESTER: Regular Club Meetings,
Greater Rochester Iris Society. The contact information should be changed to:

Thank you so much. The Journal is a valuable resource for area gardeners.
