We do have our Odyssey trip planned for the first Saturday in June.

I have two requests:
1) Update Western New York Iris Society. We are presently meeting. We meet on the first Sunday of the month at 1:30pm. The location is at the Reinstein Library on 1030 Losson Road S. Cheektowaga, NY. (between Union and Transit Roads.) We have presentations on bearded and beardless irises and all the various classes of irises. The December talk will include Siberian, Louisiana and Japanese irises and their specific care. Handouts are plentiful. There are no dues for our local group.
Western New York Iris Society will take a winter break during January and February but will return March 6, 2022. Same place and same time! The presentation will be Irises of the Wetlands: Pseudacorus, Vesicolors, and Pseudatas. All are welcome!

2) I would like to submit a large article about the various classes of irises and the American Iris Society, AIS Region-2, and the four local affiliates, including Western New York Iris Society in the spring addition of your journal. Editing as you wish. If this is something you can consider, please let me know and the date of submission. Thank you.
Sincerely, Marilee Farry, WNYIS president (farmare@aol.com) (716-668-1789)
